There is no Scarcity - only Opportunity
24 - 09 - 2013
One of the biggest reasons why I blog about small business, is to inspire people to become business owners and not workers or managers. But I mostly try to inspire young people, because it takes a few years to discover you passion and turn it into a recipe for profits.
This does not happen overnight. It is
a long and hard learning process of many failures first and finally you discover what works for you (your own "business recipe" as I call it). I started my business journey in 1994 and today I am independent and do not have to live in fear of losing my job. I have learned to turn my talents and skills into money.
Almost daily I hear of a highly paid person losing his job or not getting a bonus or increase, but I have seldom heard of a successful entrepreneur
who cannot make money even in a recession. That is usually the time they buy desperate businesses or property "on the cheap".
You see, gentle reader, it is not enough just to own your own business or plan to own one in the future if you have not learned to be successful in all circumstances.
You have to find your niche and remain competitive at all times by following business principles and fully understanding your industry whether it is computer training (my case), property or fast food etc.
Are you living in a world of scarcity? Some people are filled with fear when they think of the future. Words like recession, high interest rates,
inflation is frightening to them and they constantly talk
of life as one of survival only.
Gentle reader, do not be caught up in this destructive pattern. Once you have discovered your skill-set
and are determined to bring added-value to your clients and refuse to be paid less than what you believe is fair, you will start experiencing your true-worth and the wealth you deserve for all
your focused hard work and efforts.
Many times it is our belief in lack and scarcity that spirals us into failure - not the lack itself.
To be without money or food is just a temporary situation for an entrepreneur, it is nothing to worry
about as long as you know you are improving your skill-set and learning from mistakes. The world around you is ripe at all times and "ready for the picking".
Clients are out there in abundance and you will soon find good clients and friends who resonate with your own beliefs and together you will support each other until your network grows.
Gentle reader, it is time to pack your bags and move out of "Scarce City" and learn to become a young entrepreneur with hope and an unbeatable skill-set based on timeless business principles that will one day bear fruit for the rest of your life.
