YOUR DREAM IN LIFE
MUST BE YOUR PASSION

A great goal in itself, is not the most important thing. It is the person you will become in terms of courage, character and persistence in persuit of your passion.

Your dream must be worth the pain of setbacks along the way.

Why is it that the majority of people do not set BIG goals?

The most important reason I have come to realize, is because they are not willing to take the pain that comes with achieving big goals. As soon as an unexpected problem occurs, they lose hart and give up (usually too soon).

Here is the question you have to ask yourself first: are you willing to become the person it takes to fulfill a dream worth failing for? (You cannot grow without pain).

Other important questions to ask yourself:
1. What is your dream in life? (that star you are shooting for)
2. Is it a small dream or a big dream?
3. Is your dream worth failing for (is it a worthy goal)?
4. How far are you in achieving it, and what has been the things holding you back in achieving it faster?

Let your dream rather consume your thinking instead of the usual repetitive and mostly unconstructive chatter in your mind.

You will always move in the direction of your most dominant thoughts. Put a "guard on duty" today and only allow the constructive thoughts to pass through the gate of your inner-world.

Take control of your thoughts, decisions and actions and be prepared to take responsibility for the outcome (the results)-
whether successful or unsuccessful.

Furthermore, you must have a consistant burning desire and drive to succeed. How much do you really want it? It must be fuelled with desire, passion and emotion so that the reason for persuing your dream never wears off.

THE REASON FOR PERSUING YOUR DREAM
MUST BE BIGGER THAN THE SETBACKS

Not all people do... but if you have set such a goal, then make sure it is a worthy goal and that you touch or inspire another person (people) in the pursuit of your goal.

Goals are not set to trample on the people around you, but to uplift them as they are affected by your dream (whether they want to part of your dream or not).

So let people be affected positively around you everyday by the sense of purpose you radiate in life (in both your words and actions). Even though it feels like you might never achieve it, don't ever allow yourself to stop dreaming YOUR DREAM.
