Welcome to Calvin's
30-03-2016 ....News Update 20
Hello. Calvin here. Trust you had a good Easter weekend. All rested and "batteries" charged and energized for the new month ahead with new goals for growth.
I am super excited about the new CorelDRAW X8 version as version X7 has been around for some time now (around 2 years). They have added a few features which has simply tweaked CorelDRAW a bit to work more seamlessly on the new Microsoft Windows 10 platform.
I have listed the new features as a PDF download from my website homepage here:
Skills! Skills! Skills! I'll say it again that it is so important to increase your
skill level all the times through training courses to stay ahead. Should a company downscale and you find yourself without a job, it is going to be difficult to be competitive with someone who has maintained and improved his/her skills especially in a field where your knowledge of computer software is so important.
We are living in a technology/computer age (if you still go inside a bank and stand in a Q and not doing online banking then you are giving your age away. 50+ years I would guess....LOL). Yet although we live in this new age..people are not willing to accept that learning today is an ongoing process.
If you are a receptionist, admin or PA, then knowing Microsoft Office is not enough and you should be learning a graphics programme as well...it is not just for the marketing dept.
If you are interested in my one-to-one graphic design courses then find out more from my web page;
Be assured that there is no reason to feel overwhelmed by “complicated” design software….I will guide you and give you personalised steps and methods that will make the whole learning process easy and achievable, no matter your age or lack of experience with design programmes.

My entrepreneurship college, CalvinAcademy, is now in full swing and we have recently come to the end of our 1st semester.
So it was celebration time and I took my students to Franschhoek to explore and experience this beautiful little town where we had lunch and got to to know each other in a more social environment.
The day was perfect and we will be having such an event at the end of every semester.
Find out more about my vision for my Academy from my webpage here...
If you know of a young person who wants to become a successful entrepreneur, please invite them to view my website and drop me an email and I will show them how at CalvinAcademy.
Now is the right time to turn our young generation into JOB-CREATORS instead of JOB-SEEKERS.
Well, friends, that’s all from me for this week, have an awesome week and don’t be afraid to spread your wings and go beyond your comfort zone. Remember to always take courses to improve your skills and remain competitive.
